Uploading Products To Ricochet

  • Make sure you are on the correct location when uploading products. You can toggle between locations.
  • Make sure tax is always left to the on position.
  • Department is the store location that you are located in. Please select the appropriate location your products will be sold in.
  • Category is also the location your products are sold in.
  • Make sure to be descriptive with your items and with product titles, this helps staff find your items just in case it won’t scan.
  • Make sure to include an inventory count with your item or else it will not scan in the register and we will not be able to sell the product.
  • You may upload your products with barcodes already or if you do not upload barcode numbers then the system will generate them for you automatically.
  • WHAT INFO TO ADD: Title, category, make sure tax is turned on, price, quantity, and correct location if applicable. No other information is needed. Do not add barcode information unless you are using your own barcodes.
  • Make sure to input an inventory count so staff may sell the item
  • We recommend to NOT use variants. Variants make it harder for the vendor and Urban Market staff.
  • Product images are not required
  • SKU is locked and can not be changed. UPC can be changed and you can put in your own barcode number there.
  • We recommend printing new tags from the Ricochet program even if you have your own barcodes.
